In recent weeks, we have detected issues with transfers to Argentine bank accounts. We want to be completely transparent with you.
Due to new regulations and validations from the Argentine banking system, some transfers:
- ❌ Were rejected.
- ⏳ Took much longer than usual to be credited.
- 🔁 Required manual reprocessing.
We know this has caused uncertainty, inconvenience, and unnecessary delays. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
What is happening?
The regulations and validations of the Argentine banking system have tightened certain controls over transfers, especially when they come from abroad or from digital platforms. This directly impacts our operations when processing payments to local bank accounts in Argentina.
Although the funds were correctly issued from our platform, some banks:
- Blocked incoming transfers.
- Requested additional validations.
- Delayed the crediting.
Temporary Decision
To prevent more creators from having payments rejected or delayed, we decided:
🔒 Temporarily disable the payment method to Argentine bank accounts.
This measure is preventive and aims to protect you. In the meantime, we are actively working to find more efficient and stable local solutions that will allow us to re-enable this method in the future.
What do we recommend now?
To continue receiving payments smoothly, we suggest using applications that allow you to have an account in the United States or receive international transfers with greater stability.
1) Takenos
One of the most used options by creators in Argentina.
- Allows receiving international payments.
- Virtual account in USD.
- Simple and digital flow.
2) Belo
An app that allows you to operate with digital USD and easily convert to pesos.
- Easy to use.
- Good integrations.
- Quick crediting.
3) Dollar App
Allows you to receive dollars and convert them whenever you need.
4) Other alternatives that may work
You can also evaluate (if they are available in your country and work for you regarding fees/times):
- Payoneer
- Wise
- Deel (if you work with international contracts)
*Important: check fees, crediting times, and verification requirements before choosing.*
🔄 You need to reconfigure your Stripe account
To avoid new errors and ensure that all future payments work correctly, we have removed previously linked bank accounts in Stripe.
👉 This means that all creators must reconfigure their payment account. We know this is an extra step and we apologize, but it is necessary to ensure stability in upcoming payments.
📝 Step by step to set up your account correctly
1) Go to “My Payments”
Go to: https://creatorplace.ai/es/creator/payments
Then click: “Continue Setup / Manage Account”. This will redirect you to Stripe Connect.
2) Log in to Stripe
Stripe will ask you for:
- 📧 An email
- 📱 Your phone number
⚠️ It doesn't matter if the number is from Argentina, the United States, or another country. You can use the one you usually use.
3) Select country and account type
- 🌎 Country: select United States
- 🏢 Business Type: select “Individual”
*(Unless you have a legally established company in the United States, which is not the case for most.)*
4) Complete personal information and activity
Fill in your full name and the other personal information requested by Stripe. Then the field “Your website” will appear.
You have two options:
- If you have a website, you can enter it there.
- If you don't have one, click the option “Add product description”.
There we recommend writing something like:
“Digital content creation for brands”
“UGC content creation services”
5) Add a bank account in USD
Stripe will show you banks in the United States to connect automatically:
- If you have an account with any of those banks, you can connect it directly.
- If you opened an account with Takenos, Belo, Dollar App, or another similar service, choose “Enter data manually”.
It will then ask you for:
- Routing Number
- Account Number
This information is provided by the app when you open your dollar account.
6) Confirm and submit
Once everything is completed, click “Accept and Submit” and you're done ✅ Your account will be correctly set up to receive payments without issues.
🎯 Final Recommendation
- Do not select Argentina as the country.
- Use an account that allows receiving transfers in USD.
- Double-check the routing and account number before submitting.
